    I use cmd as little as possible, because it is so absolutely unforgiving. Instead I've simply Virus checked the images, then using IrfanView, opened them and batch saved the lot, deleting the protected ones when done. Problem gone without risk or issue.

    [No idea why some random album images got to be assigned as system files though, still to figure that one out. I'm sure they didn't start out that way].
