    The motherboard name and manufacturer should be printed on it, close to the RAM slots. It's likely a code like "SDR-34-FE23" (made up).
    Tell that and we can tell what kinds of RAM you can take and maybe if it supports a better CPU.

    i have fixed the hard drive with windows xp on so I will most likely use this now

    I was gonna warn him about vid-card
    - cos in them 'ol days manufacturers used to stick any old agp/type 1 slot in and you could fry the vid card(later version) if you pop the wrong one in.

    "1 x AGP slot supports 4X mode & AGP 2.0 compliant"
    You are ok they upped to v2.0
    - you could use certain 8x AGP cards with this but obviously they will only run 4X

    Seeing the old "VIA VT8363(A) Apollo KT133(A)"
    Man - the problems overcoming Via drivers was a 'mission' in itself
