Did you unhide both Hidden and System files in Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab?

Then did you temporarily assign it a letter in Disk Mgmt, rightclick Explore on partition?

It's probably locked out user as an OEM partition. But I still don't see what it does since it has no labels required to prove it boots Win7 (System, Active).

It would help to have the other questions answered because that would tell us if EFI is even engaged.

Why can't you tell us if you've reinstalled WIn7 or if it still has the Asus factory Preinstall? How many times do I need to ask?

OK can you check now if it's a GPT or MBR disk?

Check in Disk Mgmt to see if it's for certain an MBR disk.

Does this same choice appear when you right click on the panel in red to the left of the HD shown in this screenshot of Disk Mgmt?

This will tell us if it's an EFI install.

You do not need to be nervous about asking for help. That's the purpose of this forum: to ask and answer questions; no matter how unusual, frequent, or ridiculous.
