2 random issues. Sometimes when PC falls asleep, it won't wake up, and

So I'm starting to have a few problems on this PC I just built about 2 months ago. The first problem is, sometimes when my computer falls asleep, it won't wake up, at all. I end up having to do a hard reset whenever this happens. This just started happening a few days ago out of no where, and it usually happens only like once or twice a day. The other problem I have is sometimes my audio will go out. It only happens when I have it on mute, but it doesn't always happen though. And when this happens, I end of having to hit the reset button and restart the computer.

I should note, I feel these problems may be related in some way. But that's just me, I really have no idea. When the audio goes out, if I right click on the little speaker on the bottom right corner, and then click playback devices, my playback device (My monitor, ASUS VE248h) isn't listed. And of course, it's listed when the audio IS working.

After I started getting the audio issue, I attempted to update my audio drivers, but the program crashed in the middle of the update. And now the computer tries to update every time it starts, but it always has an error and never completes. My audio still works fine though, except for when it goes out of course.

I realize these problems are probably pretty vague, but I'm just throwing them out there. Maybe somebody will have some ideas.

Try updating the Display and audio driver (again), from Windows Updates or the PC or device maker's Support Downloads webpage.

If display driver doesn't solve Sleep issue, and it's set correctly at Control Panel>Power Options, then try Sleep Mode Problems - Vista Forums.

You may need to reinstall the Video and sound card or adapter.
