How do you find out how much space your HDD have?

I'm using Windows 8 but I guess it would be the same.

Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Never used Windows 8 but on 7 it's just Start>Computer and it shows up right there.

Win7 Ultimate X64

Click start>type diskmgmt.msc>press enter
All info about drives will be displayed, internal/external/size/partitions/free space etc

Edit: sorry that would be for Win7

How to find the missing space in the disk.
1. In my windows 7 virtual pc i have an 80 GB hard disk which is completely allocated for c drive, but surprisingly my c drive capacity shows only 30GB. There is no unallocated space on the disk. Can someone help me to resolve this issue. Please find the attached screen shot.
I can't find the space of the file I've deleted it from desktop.
After I changed c: partition from primary to logical using mini tool partition wizard program and created two volumes, there was a file on the dektop, about 88 Gb size, then I deleted it but I can't find its space when do shrenke volume to c: partition.

I installed the new Windows 7 But the problem is while installing i partitiioned my HDD space into 40 and the rest..... Now i cant find my remaining partion ........ I installed Win 7 in the 40GB partition... Somebody please help me:cry:
