    Windows Explorer error

Hope someone can help here as I'm at my wits end.

I keep getting the error message that Windows Explorer has stopped working (I'm using x64 7 Pro) and then restarting. I have tried the following but, to no avail:

    Updating all drivers.
Running Scannow under admin which could find no vunerabilities.
Running a virus check (Kasperky) which found nothing.
Ran Malware Bytes which found nothing.

I booted-up in Safe Mode which didn't bring-up the message.
Ran System Restore which didn't fix the issue.

It was happening at least every minute originally but now only happens about every five minutes or so?

Can anyone suggest my next move please?

    Thanks for any/all help

If possible, get a screenshot of the error message. If you can't do that write down the exact wording of it. Thanks,

Thanks for getting straight back BM, appreciated.

Cannot get a screenshot has the message comes and goes too fast. But, this is the message:

Windows Explorer has stopped working. Followed by: Windows Explorer is restarting.

    Thanks again

Are you hitting your Library Key when you get this message?

Are you going to make me guess what key you hit when this comes up or maybe tell me?

Sorry buddy :) The message just appears when Windows starts and keeps appearing periodically whenever I'm working in whichever app I'm in.

    Hope this makes sense?

I do have another copy of Windows on a previously used SSD, would it be OK to replace explorer.exe and shell32.dll with these? Would that solve the issue?

    Thanks for your input.

Have you looked through your Event Viewer? There might be a clue as to the error there. Not sure what to suggest without more information.
