A quick question that'll help others, do you have any unknown devices listed in Device Manager and have you installed any drivers?

I have had connection problems before after installing Windows and it was as simple as removing the internet adapter, shutting down, rebooting and replacing the internet adapter so that Windows finds it as a new installation. == This with a USB adapter. If you have a card, it will require more effort to remove the card.
You have to have a network adaptor listed in device manager, even if the drivers are not installed. Use whatever pc you`re using to communicate with us and go to the website of your pc manufacturer to get the network drivers and install them.
Usually this problem will only occur on a Dell.
Need more help just keep asking.

Install only the wireless or ethernet adapter from the Support Downloads page for your model PC or the adapter manufacturer. Then once online run all Important and Optional Windows Updates to get more driver updates and patch your Win7 as is necessary. Only after all Updates are done (several rounds are required with reboots) should you import any other drivers still missing in Device Manager.

Just found my driver cd that came with my comp. this should fix the issue.
The driver's CD is out of date as soon as its pressed. I told you where to find the drivers.
Ethernet controller is your Onboard LAN (network adaptor) and the yellow triangle indicates there is a problem with it. If you check the properties it will usally give a reason which is generally drivers and in your case of a fresh install I would immediately say drivers.
If you can't download the driver (5.5mb) from a friends computer or a mobile phone then I would use the one provided on the cd but only install the LAN/Ethernet driver then update the driver from the Manufactuers website.
