    Malware?

Have you checked for malware (i.e. ran your AV program)?

Hello Kevin, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if using OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default location of your "My Documents" folder may help in case this may be the issue.

User Folders - Restore Default Location

    Hope this helps, :)

Do you have any program installed that may be set to save into a Documents folder in your Downloads folder?

Double check to make sure that this Documents folder is set to not be shared with anyone.

If all fails, then you might see if using Unlocker to delete it may get rid of it for good.

I would if I knew how. Another member made it for me a few years back. :)

I can't remember who now since I blinked since then.

You should be able to do it using a gif (Brink's Avatar is a gif).
You can use GIMP or Photoshop to make gif files. :)

    Something like this?
Sorry they are a bit rough.
v1 Documents folder keep reappearing in Downloads folder-addram.gif v2 Documents folder keep reappearing in Downloads folder-addram2.gif
They still need more frames and timing adjustments.

    Back to the topic
Are you using some sort of Download Manager, KevinStorm?
I used one (years ago) that created "category" folders in my Download location.
