    I have been using tuneup for over 2 years but never had this problem before, i use it mainly because i chnage my logon screen and nothing special but i will take all of your tip and unisntall it and see if it gets any better,thanks.

    Hey I just now found that the culprit might be my oneof the two network card so i unistalled them both and reinstalled
    also updated realtek ethernet card drivers to latest,till now i have tried and successfully hibenated and put my pc to sleep 7 times ,i will see for two more hours if occurs again then back to square one.

    Since you've narrowed it down, you can enter Device Manager and check the Power Settings on the network card to disable wake options, etc. These might be on their own tab for the Device, or under Driver details or properties.

    Back to square one when i thought it had been cured it strikes back.
    And i am mad enough to send my laptop flying out of the window unless some helps me cure it,please can anyone help this lapi.

    Finally i got a dump file,i letf my pc in hanged state for 2 hours and it automatically shutdown and gave a dumpfile.Please some tell me what the error is how to fix it.

    Why would you throw it out the window when you've not even Clean Reinstalled yet? Most tech enthusiasts would never run the bloated factory preinstall to begin with!

    Why would you expect any better performance from an inherently corrupt install? We specialize here in perfect installs, by comparison. Don't give up until you try one to see the difference.

    Ok i formatted it yet again but using win 7 image downloaded from digital river i am getting the errors "driver power state failure",also got a 586 mb dump file with no clue to which driver crashed ,Also can it be a hardware malfunction but apart form sleep/hibernating problem no other problem has surfaced,it passes all the dells hardware diagnostics both boot time and in win environment,stress test also good,no check disk error.
