    Hi gregrocker,

I cannot belive that there is not a way to fix so little problem and I have to do so huge thing as reinstall windows.
I had reinstall windows a lot of times, it is not that a problem for me, but I am very surprised that there is not a other solution for these problems
Any idea is wellcome. I will try if somebody has another idea. If not, I will have to reinstall as gregrocker recomeded me.
Anyway thank you for your help.

There is a solution when you ruin your Win7 with optimizing crapware, and that is to System Restore it from the Win7 DVD System Recovery Options or System Repair Disk.

If you can't do that then you'll need to try the suggested SFC /SCANNOW Command
and possibly run a Repair Install .

In the time it takes to do all that you could follow the steps suggested in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get a perfect reinstall, then if you stick with the tools and methods in the tutorial you can maintain a perfect install. That would be something new for you, so maybe it's worth a try.

Problem is that to do a clena reinstall is not something new for me.
I did it a lot of time. What I want is to avoid a clean reinstall when I have just a little problem like: Windows doestno suspend.

Mey be reinstall it is good idea. I can try it.

But getting a perfect reinstall as shown in the tutorial, then sticking with the tools and methods given to keep a perfect install would be something new for you since you've ruined your OS before with optimizers that are not tolerated by Win7.

This time after it's setup save a Win7 Backup image so you can re-image the HD in 20 minutes if you can't control yourself and need to ruin your install again.

    +1
Using Backup Imaging for the OS can save a lot of time to recover whenever there is a problem...

I don't use ANY registry cleaners, optimizers, tune-up utilities, etc.

The ONLY registry cleaner I have read about on Seven Forums that can be trusted is Ccleaner.
I've never used it, but many members here do recommend it.

I would make a backup before running the Registry Cleaner.

I do use Ccleaner File cleanup regularly - no problems here.

As you do have an Acronis Image, I would try restoring that before resorting to a clean install.
I use Acronis (many years) and have never had a problem restoring an image.

After using Advanced System Care their is no way anybody on earth can tell you all the damage it created. That's why a clean install is the best and fast way to get you going again.

There isn't any needed. Advanced System Care whatever number or any other registry cleaners/optimizers are just about useless if not lethal. Ccleaner's is about the safest there is if you feel that you MUST clean your registry. But still..... be careful and do nothing to it without a restore point of backup.
