Ot has finished and has 44,000 files+ with a total of 931GB.

This must be wrong. I never filled the drive up, i still had about 300-400gb free

It would include all your deleted files and system files.

Just select what you want to recover.

    • you tried to recover picture files on whole disk. Not only the lost partition! You can better check sector 0 to 1682648163 only. 1682648163 is start of second partition, so first partition that can be recovered by PW, correct?
    • You can make previews of the files. Check some if they are real pictures.
    • I think a lot of them are not pictures.... ZAR did try to recover a total mess!
Now you have to much but why do you care?

Current version (ZAR 9.2) supports digital photo recovery for the following file formats: GIF, JPEG, TIFF, CRW (Canon RAW data), MOV, AVI movie, WAV, CR2 (Canon CR2 RAW format), ORF (Olympus RAW format)

    So no BMP(?)

Can you post a screenshot of the file list it can recover? Is it nicely ordered in folders?

    Hi SIW2,

Does it list all files in free ZAR version? So not only picture files?

But file names are what you expected, so still the same?

I hope it keeps the file creation date on recovery. Otherwise it's almost impossible to determine what it is. Or are you seeing filenames you understand?
