Help with installing Vista and keeping 7

I have Windows 7 64 bit and I want to install Vista on a separate partition. I shrank the C:\ which has my Windows 7 and created a new partition F:\ on which I would like to install Vista. After booting the Vista DVD and getting to the part of the installer to choose the partition to be installed on, the list only shows C:\ and not F:\ as if it is hidden. How can I fix this?

You will not install Vista to a dynamic disk, you need to convert back to basic.

Take note of the warning in this tutorial:
Partition or Volume - Create New

I followed the tutorial and successfully converted to basic and installed Vista on desired partition.
    Thank you very much

I wonder why you wanted to install Vista, as Win7 is better than that in any conceivable way.
