I got another I/O device error when transferring a folder
Built my system from parts I can get from stores near me. It is hard to get an x64 processor here so I had to use an x86 processor instead.
Constant freeze here and taking forever to open a folder, but I think I might have recovered some more files.
1 partition has been saved succesfully.
Old C drive is lost forever.
Be patient and try to recover files.
You can only copy 1 file or 1 folder at a time.... am I right?
Maybe better to do this Use Ubuntu Live CD to Backup Files from Your Dead Windows Computer - How-To Geek
More commands eh? Well at least I'll get my files back. Thank YOU Mr. Kaktussoft
Can't help you further... XENOT7 .... I gave you all relevant tools and information. Harddrive still has waranty? Warranty Validation
I found a 32 bit Ubuntu 12.10 live cd. It's from a magazine DVD, would that work?
