Of course I didn't (but I tried though), but as u see in my previous photo, the HDD and all the parts in it are still intact.

Just got a new hdd, now installing, hope I can find out what other errors are on the old hdd.

Did you run Seagate Seatools DOS extended CD test on the HD in question?

This is how you determine its condition, not discussing it for two pages.
