    You forgot /e ???? that means subfolders also. You only backupped the root folder!! Do command again, but now the way I told you

    No progress bar or total file count on screen? I don't know myself what it actually shows and what goes to logfile.

    no, there's nothing happening, and the external HDD's light is just flashing contstantly but slowly.

    I tested it myself... indeed nothing on screen. Maybe better

    • Press CTRL-C to cancel the command
    • retype command or press up-arrow
    • Remove /log:robocopy.log from command
    • press enter to run it

    it says that 'Remove' is not recognized as internal or external command
