    No problem at all. Copy attached exe file to I:\
    So you get I:\peexplorer.exe

    in command prompt type:

    I:\peexplorer

    Now you can copy/paste from D to I. Copy one folder each time. Then you know exactly what you do. If it fails... you know where it fails. Just select all files again you want to copy but deselect the problem file

    Wow thanks to you, I was able to recover some of my photos from local disk, a BIG thank YOU, yet to try the tool you gave though.

    I did send you peexplorer.exe 64bits. I extracted the file from an ISO.

    Another try. start notepad by just typing notepad in command prompt. File->open
    select All filetypes instead of *.txt.

    Now you have a mini explorer (sort of). Copy a folder (right click->copy). Now browse to I:\ and paste it.
