How do I change the angle of view on my monitor

I had to change the batteries on my Logitech wifi keyboard. In doing so I rested the keyboard face down on the desk.

Immediately the picture on my monitor moved 25 degrees to the right. The top of the picture is now on the right and the bottom on the left. The whole picture is sideways.

Can anyone tell me how I can change the picture back to its original please?

    Hi thistlebarrow,

Try the key combination <Alt><Ctrl><Up Arrow key> to set the display back to the vertical mode.
(Note: works only with Intel based card; if another video card is installed, please share the card details)

Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions; would be glad to assist.

Does your monitor have a reset to factory built into the monitors bios; it it does then attempt re-seting. If that does not work then see if you can right click on the home screen of the monitor then go to "screen resolution" to fix the problem. And, finally, if you have a specific video card see you can bring up the software problem for making corrections to the video driver for your system.

    Hi Thistlebarrow,

Glad that the issue is fixed.

You could also rotate the 'display' alternatively:
    - Right-click on 'Desktop Screen' > Click 'Graphics Options' > 'Rotation'

Thank you for the kind words; appreciate it !
I've recently started posting on 'Sevenforums'; great community; knowledge intensive & great support.
I'm sure you would have had a resolution anyways !

    Hi Saurabh

I am surprised that it is so easy to change the desktop screen so easily.

I would think it is very unusual for anyone to want to change it in such a way, and once done I found it impossible to find how to revert to the normal screen using Windows Help.

As always its easy to put right when you know how, and I am lucky that you do and could explain it in a way that even I could understand.

Again thanks for your help. In future I will take more care when I have to change the batteries in my keyboard.

    regards
