    New files deleted after reboot


    Windows loads up fine but when i shutdown and log in again it loads all previous files but no new or modified files. I thought my user account was corrupted so i created a new account. This worked but after the 2nd reboot a screen appeared before the login screen saying windows was configuring settings. After that the same problem emerged and i don't know how to fix it. Please help.

    Hello Stygianchaos, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Are you getting any type of user profile error before or after logging in like either one below?
    For now, you might see if doing a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this issue started may help.
