[How to] Find out hidden features in Windows 7
[How to] Find out hidden features in Windows 7 | Vista HomeIn Windows 7, a few features are not as visible as those well-known ones, such as Aero Peek, Aero Snap and so on. But as more and more people use it longer and longer, some hidden features surfaces.
No.1 Desktop Auto- arrange
In previous Windows versions, we need to right-click on the desktop and hit auto-arrange to clean up the table, and even some times we have to do it manually. But now in Windows 7, just press F5 for a while, and you will see a magic.
No.2 Mouse Gestures
We know, some of the web browsers or add-ones can allow users to do operation with a mouse gesture, to pull, to drop and something like that. In Windows 7, there is something similar. You can try dropping the taskbar icons up or to pull down the IE 8 address bar to find out what's happening.

No3. Runs as Admin
Basically, in Vista or Windows 7, right-click and hit Run as admin will open the app as with an admin authority. But here is a way to make it easier, just press Control + shift on when try opening it.
No.4 Lock the screen
In Windows Vista, if we want to leave a while, we can lock our computer through the startmenu Lock button to protect our privacy. However, when we open startmenu in Windows 7, we can find Lock nowhere. Fortunately, here is a key combination to make it. Just remember to press WIN+L when you are leaving.
Sorry if posted before but just some more useful tips that the new folks to Windows 7 might not know about.
