Locating locking files (i.e., files beginning with ~) in Explorer

    Hello,

I periodically try to find and delete stranded locking files.

I have tried the following searches, and they all return incorrect results:
    ~
    ~*.*
    ~.*

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Use the following in the search window.

    system.filename: "~*.*"

    Thanks! That worked.
Also, I have been trying to find a comprehensive dictionary of advanced Explorer search syntax. Would you happen to know where I can find this?
    All the best,

I have not really found any comprehensive guide. I have just used Google and past experience.

    This is a good tutorial.
