Hello Mr0no, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If something is wrong your copy of shell32.dll, then running a sfc /scannow command should be able to fix it since it is a system file.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Hell mrOno Again another welcome to the Seven Forums here!

To get the system file checker going correctly read the guide over and have the 7 dvd in the drive while running it. That will generally scan for any missing or corrupted system files and see those replaced by unpacking replacements right from the installation disk.

If that still doesn't work the most often visited place people refer you to is the actually the worst advised for any direct download. The best alternative describes the steps to take at Shell32.dll - Shell32.dll Not Found Error - Missing Shell32.dll - Fix Shell32.dll

    thx for replies,

    I tried
sfc /scannow but at the end of the verification it says that there are found some corrupted files but system cannot fix them, and solution with the dvd inside also doesn't work.

The problem is with icons, 3 days ago I started my pc, and some icons (ex. icon for folder) were changed, then I checked shell32.dll file by trying to change the icon for one folder and some icons were different from original ones. I think some software must have changed shell32.dll, and I think think replacing shell32.dll from someone elses system would be the fastest method. I can easily replace the file from xp (I have dual boot)

    Mr0no,

You can run a repair install to fix this without losing anything. :)
