How to change views in screens

I wish to view the file properties such as C:/Users/Melissa/etc/etc

Can you enable for every screen to have that displayed in every screen in your explorer screen?

I also wish to see the size of each folder - this does not seem to be happening as a default to my screen.

    Thank you Forum

In the upper right of any Explorer window click on the How to change views in screens-capture.jpg arrow and choose Details. See if that's what you want. You'll have to do this with each folder you want to see it.

    Hello Milissa,

The tutorial below can help show you how to set a default folder view for all folders.
In Windows Explorer, folder size can only be seen in pop-up when you hover on the folder, or look at it's Properties page.
You might consider trying a 3rd party alternative to explorer like FreeCommander to see if it may work better for the size issue.

    Hope this helps, :)
