Streaming the Superbowl- How to

Hello everyone! You were so helpful last time, I thought I would ask another question.

I have never streamed video before, and I want to watch the Superbowl online. I think will have it for free. I googled some info on streaming and some sites claim I need to download software in order to stream video. Is this true? and why can't I get it to start showing me the pre-game stuff?

Thanks in advance..

Does anyone know why when I copy videos to my 'My Videos' folder I have to reboot the PC before the PS3 will see he new videos? Is there an easier way for getting the PS3 to notice them?
