I get message that "Windows Explorer has stopped working"

Hi, I just joined this forum so I hope I can explain this so you understand. While I am working in my computer, reading email or just working in a software program, I periodically get this message that Windows Explorer has stopped working (and then an explanation that it is trying to fix it). Then it continues with another message about trying to fix it and it closes the program.

I don't know why this is happening but a lot of times I am in Windows Live Mail.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit (built by my computer store (Dnet Computers). I didn't put the specs in because I wasn't sure what to put in. I don't know what other information I can give you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Please try this:

    1. Click Start
    2. In the search box, type cmd
    3. In the list that appears, right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as administrator
    4. In the command window that opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.

Report the output once it finishes.

Also, gather your system specifications using this:

    Windows Explorer has stopped working

The results from doing the cmd like you suggested is this:

"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

    Now what?
