    Noise While Booting

I have Windows 7 64 bit system. As the computer is in the process of getting to the desktop there is a little sound like (ber-donk). It only makes that sound once and only during boot. How can I find out what it is?

From your description it might be a USB device connecting.
Can you plug in a USB Flash drive (or any USB device) and see if that makes the same sound?
If that's the same sound you hear while booting, I wouldn't worry about it.

I hear this sound(s) sometimes when I boot...
(I use multiple USB Keyboards, Mice, and a KVM switch...)

That very well may be the noise. I hadn't thought of that. I do have a wireless mouse and keyboard on that computer. Thank you.

    You're welcome.
Yea, wireless KB and mouse can do that...
