After reboot, Cant Use touchpad or change theme or connect to internet

I restarted my laptop and after restart the theme suddenly changed...and i realised i cant use touchpad or connect to internet through wirless or wired connection (samsung USB tethering always worked last time before reboot). i navigated my way to the display options using the keyboard and the themes were grayed out. Then i navigated my way to malwarebytes and windows security essentians and command prompt. I scanned in both the anti virus and malware bytes and sfc /scannow and all of them detected nothing. I know i can find separate tutorials to fix all these separately but i believe its either a virus or malware of some sort so i want to remove it from its roots so that it will not happen again. So please help me with what i can do next. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanx in advance!.

Work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start
starting with running full Malwarebytes scan in Safe Mode if it will start - if not run AV scan from boot disk.

Then boot the Win7 DVD System Recovery Options or Repair CD to run Startup Repair a few times with reboots. If it doesn't offer to System Restore then run it manually from the options list.

    Hi there,

The solution above may of helped you but just in case, I may have a way to fix the error that does not allow you to connect to the Internet.

Try hitting the f12 key on your keyboard. It worked for me so it may work for you.
