    User ident on every screen

Is there a way to show some kind of user logged on identification on each and every displayed screen?

I am the administrator user and there are two standard users on my pc.
When I am doing various 'system' tasks on various user I forget which one I am logged in to.
The START menu displays a 'user' badge at the top right.
Could that be carried to other screens?

One way I can think of would be to use unique desktop backgrounds for each user. If that isn't sufficient, edit the background image and add the user name somewhere that is easy to see.

    Hello Ztruker
Thanks for the ideas. I'll look into them.

Just thought of another that is a lot easier.

Use notepad to create a small script file as follows:

    Set wshShell = WScript.CreateObject( "WScript.Shell" )
    strUserName = wshShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings( "%USERNAME%" )
    WScript.Echo "User Name: " & strUserName

    Save as Username.vbs

Place a link to it on the Desktop. When you run it, a window will open with the username in it.

The Start Menu should show the user name and login picture.
Obviously you would have to open the Start Menu to see that info.

I agree with Ztruker's original suggestion:
Choose a unique background and/or colour theme for each user.
I use that method for my VMs (32 bit has a purple theme and the 64 bit has a blue theme)
