Shutdown Button Dissapeared Reapeard after Reboot

    Hello,

I'm using win 7 and I've had a strange problem. After browsing the internet and using Skype, I wanted to shut down my laptop because the battery was running low. But, no Shutdown Button. I managed to shut it down by using task manager ctrl+alt+del and power(shut down) button from here!. After starting the pc again, the button re-appeared.
I do not understand what caused that. Should I run the sfc /scannow command or something else...

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Kenobi,

Was the power button in the Start Menu missing, or did it just not have "Shut Down" set as it's action?

    Power Button - Start Menu

Hope this helps for now, :)

It just not have any shut down, hibernate, sleep action. In fact that button was missing.
After reboot everything came back to normal.

    Thanks for reply.
