    Missing Operating System error

I am trying to install windows 7 operating system in my dell laptop with pen-drive. So i set priority as removable disk as my primary boot device in BIOS settings. When i try to restart my laptop i am getting missing operating system error. Can anyone please tell me the solution.

How did you put windows 7 in a pen drive?
    Is the pen drive bootable?

Actually it is an ISO file i opened it with daemon tools software and copied all the files into pen drive and in the BIOS setting i placed Removable Disk as first priority. I don't know whether pen drive is bootable or not but i think when we change the bios settings and set removable disk as primary boot device it is going to work.

It looks like you simply copied the ISO to the pen drive. You have to make it bootable first using Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

Thank you for your reply but i don't want to run with DVD by burning ISO to DVD because my DVD writer is not working in my laptop so that's why i want to run from pen-drive. I haven't copied the ISO image directly but i opened with daemon tools and copied setup files to my pen-drive. Can you please tell me the way how to run from pen-drive.
