Windows 7: laptop wont Start

laptop wont Start

I have a Toshiba Satellite P505-S8945 that will not start up. I can turn it on but it will not go past the initial Toshiba loading screen. I have had this laptop for over three years and it has run fairly well for me so far, except the battery just died recently. I got a new battery and it has been working fine so far i got it just a few days ago. The thing is today i decided to blow the dust out of it as it has been a while sense i have last done so. i removed the panels from the bottom and left the hardware alone. I used a can of suppressed air from Office Depot and then i put all the panels back.
Now my laptop wont start. It is stuck on the Toshiba logo screen with the options at the bottom to hit F2 for setup or F12 Multiboot selection menu. i have tried both of these but all it will do is change the bottom of the screen to "loading (which ever i selected) please wait..." but it never does anything.
Is there anything i can do or do i have to find someone that knows what they are doing to fix it?

You might want to double check all your connections after that cleaning. Nice and snug you know

Did you guard against static shock to any electronic component, not working on carpet, not touching anything inside without grounding yourself by touching exterior case metal first?

I would make a concentrated effort to boot into BIOS setup to reset to defaults. If you cannot do this via the F2 key then you'll have to very carefully pull the CMOS battery after researching where it is found on your model. Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS.

If you're able to get into BIOS setup, check if the HD is detected or reinstall it checking its connection. If not replace it. If you cannot get into BIOS setup you can try this anyway.
