font size 150% makes the taskbar always visible full screen video

We have a win7 PC hooked to an LED TV.
I wanted to increase the font sizes to 150% but the task bar stays visible.
If text size set to 125%, then task bar stays invisible with full screen video.
    Video is amazon prime video.

    Any ideas?
Any other way to make it bigger?
screen shot shows page I am discussing.

    This describes it perfectly.
Fix the issue with Windows 7 taskbar always staying on top of other apps - BrilliantCode

I tried setting to win7 basic and 150% but task bar stays up.
So I set to autohide and it is gone.
    Anyway else to fix this?

If the TV is set to its max resolution, you will have to pick a custom percentage between 125 and 150...

I have exactly the same issue streaming some providers if I increased the font size. I have to get off the couch and sit near the TV and read what I think some of the small writing says.I have not found a workaround except down sizing to 720p instead of 1080p. This is on my Sony Picture tube RPTV so the image stays nice and sharp. I am 20ft away from the 57" screen and I have trouble with everything except Windows Media centres 10ft scale text. On an LCD you need to stay on the default resolution or you get a fuzzy distorted picture.
    It is an undocumented feature.

Amazon Prime Video is the Player ? Is that like a Youtube player ? Does the player have a full screen option ? I`m assuming it does, but it just doesn`t work with 150% fonts ?

Can you post a shot ?

Throw me the info on the video and I`ll test it on My Sony 40"

My question..why are you increasing the fonts on your LED ? How big is it ? If you`re just using it to watch video/movies etc. what`s the point. Just askin :)

This issue can be resolved in some programs by left clicking on the program while on the taskbar, going to properties and selecting "Disable DPI Scaling"

(if it's a pinned program you will need to right-click again on the program name when it comes up in the first list)

Note that the program will not benefit from the global 150% DPI setting, while the rest of the computer will.

The video is flash Amazon prime, youtube etc...
    I think netflix too.

What happens is when you go fullscreen, the taskbar stays visible and the full screen video plays underneath the task bar.

I need the link to what you are trying to watch, exactly.:)

You can always auto hide the taskbar.

Is this a dual monitor setup ?

    This for example.
Amazon.com: Fringe: Season 1, Episode 6 "The Cure": Amazon Instant Video

The 39 inch LED TV is the only attached video device.
It is set to native resolution 1080p type setting.

Amazon prime has some free videos that work the same way as the ones included in Prime..

With the text set to 150 percent, you can read the text from the couch which is nice to do.
