    Keystrokes have swapped around

For some reason unknown to me, my @ button and my " button have swapped around.
I think it happened when I was studying VBA from a book I bought but the author doesn't provide any back up assistance for her tutorials.
I have tried almost everything to reverse the process apart from re-formatting my hard drive.
Is there anyone that can help me fix this problem.

    Hi Hermes14,

It appears to be a 'keyboard layout' issue. Try customizing it for the correct input language. (Example, if you are in US and the keyboard is set to work as per settings in UK, it may result in improper character display. Changing keyboard layout to 'US' fixes the issue in such a case)

You may refer to the following tutorials for detailed steps:
    - Keyboard Layout - Change
    - Keyboard Input Language - Add or Remove

Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions.

The only thing I can think of is using a restore point before you started the tinkering. Then run sfc /scannow. I really don't know if it will work but it should not hurt anything.

    System Restore

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
