Can anyone explain why I'm getting the same icon (twice) for different items + 1 of them is incorrect.
It does get confused from time to time just like the icon cache. Easiest way to fix is this - Notification Area Icons - Reset
This worked. I took a slightly different approach just to see if it would work the same:
I manually deleted the two Registry entries, rebooted, and for each missing icon I just let the associated program bring that icon up and it was all better.

Did someone of you allready recognized that even after uninstalling several programs the icon is still shown in the Notification Area Icons Options?
