Removed a software but it is still on right click options

    Removed a software but it is still on right click options


    as i said in the title i removed a software but i can still see that function when i right click on any item on desktop if i click on it , it shows it couldn't find the related files , install it again etc. any idea how do i get rid of that function on right click options?

    What did you uninstall?

    What are the exact steps you took to uninstall it? That is, did you go through the Programs and Features control panel?

    Winpatrol is the name of software i used control panel as you pointed out

    Have you restarted your computer since uninstalling it? This is the only thing I can think of.

    yea maybe a hundred times i uninstalled it 1 week ago i even use advanced system care pro to clean out old registry stuff n errors but i guess it has nothing to do with registry

    Oh, be careful with cleaning the Registry! That should never be done because regardless of the software used to "clean" it, there's a long history of deleting false positives. This means that there's a risk of breaking everything if any of those false positives are critical.

    I admit that I was thinking that this could be something left over in the Registry, but I don't have any more information in order to lead us to the point where we get rid of these entries in the Context Menus.

    you are right indeed but Advanced system Care is really trustable software that is used by many people so i dont think it might've caused any issues like this

    Sir George thanks dude sometimes solution is so simple and people just overlook it removal tool on the site helped me get rid of it :)
