    My laptop screen is going off when i plug in any USB...


    HI this is Suri, my ASUS (K45V model) laptop is 6 months old. from past 2 days i have been facing a problem that, screen is going off often like when i plug in any USB drive like mouse, pendrive etc... and resuming after pressing any key. I made sure that my screen saver is not blank. Please anybody help me out...

    Hello kiwi and welcome to SF just for starters can you do this just unplug all drives and mice etc before you run it and navigate to it using the touch pad.

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    check back with what you get.

    Yep mate I guess when all is said and done I suppose kiwi shouldn't have to do anything really. Having said that it could be something real simple we could fix and save the down time - you and I know what supports are like eh

    Thanks budddies...it's worked out...jus i restarted my lappy and found the problem was resolved...
    From past 2 days i have not shutdown my system and i kept it for sleep when i was not using...may that was the reason...

    Remember that you have a one-year parts and tech support warranty for the laptop so I'd use it to get any other problems resolved or laptop replaced before it expires.
