Windows 7: The "Applications" screen in Task Manager has disappeared!

The "Applications" screen in Task Manager has disappeared!

When I launch Task Manager, the only screen I have access to is the Processes screen - and I do not have any options to see what applications are running, or anything other than which processes are running, which makes it much more difficult to determine what's going on with my PC. I have run multiple virus scans, with Norton, with Malwarebytes, and with the ESET online scanner (my go to when I know something is wrong and Norton doesn't catch it) and the Microsoft Safety Scanner. (online av scan).

So, what is going on, and how on earth can I fix this? This seems to be the only thing messed up on my PC at the moment, other than the majority of my programs conflicting with Chrome, and I am all tapped out on ideas on how to proceed. Help! Any thoughts on this?

Attached is a screen shot of task manager running on my PC.

Hello Joe, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It looks like you have Task Manager in small footprint mode. You can double click on a border area to return it back to normal mode.

Task Manager - Small Footprint Mode

Hope this helps, :)

Wow - ha! I didn't expect the fix to be that simple! Now I'm kicking myself in the butt for not knowing this - I actually work as a software support/hardware support person; granted, not Windows, but jeez Louise, I feel dumb as a stump for not knowing that!
Thank you!

You're most welcome Joe.

Don't beat yourself up. If you don't work with it often, then it'll be hard to know. :)

Force Task Manager "Show processes from all users" always enabled.
Is there a way to force Task Manager to open with the "Show processes from all users" option enabled? I created a shortcut and added "/1" (without quotes) in the property target line but it did not work. (I know, one click will accomplish this but I just like to tweak!) Disregard. Found...

Hey. I'm trying to create a macro, through Auto HotKey, that will automatically set the processor affinity of some program. It's problematic because the only way I know of, is to right click the process in Task Manager. The process's location changes each time, so I can't direct the macro to...
