Com Surrogate keeps opening and closing

    I don't have a clue but I do see dllhost.exe when it loads in the task manager.

    Lets try this

    Click on type cmd in Search Box Right-click and choose Run as adminstrator

       Note
    Command Prompt will open to this directory C:\Windows\System32>_


    Enter sfc /scannow and press Enter

    Added :

    Check your event viewer ( Application and System) for any errors that have to do with DCOM

    Click the button . In the Search box, type Event Viewer, and and press Enter.

    ok, I just finnished the sfc /scannow and it found corrupt files that were successfully repaired. it also made a CBS.log file too. I will try the event viewer next.

    Im looking at the event viewer and I dont see Application and system, I do see Appications and service logs on the left hand side.

    That's good news that it repaired the issues it found running SFC /scannow

    I restarted my computer and just let it sit with the task manager open and com surrogate is still opening and closing.

    under summary of administrative events I see 3 errors. this is on event viewer local tab.
    in the applications and service logs there are no errors.
