I don't have a clue but I do see dllhost.exe when it loads in the task manager.
Lets try this
Click on type cmd in Search Box Right-click and choose Run as adminstrator
NoteCommand Prompt will open to this directory C:\Windows\System32>_
Enter sfc /scannow and press Enter
Added :
Check your event viewer ( Application and System) for any errors that have to do with DCOM
Click the button . In the Search box, type Event Viewer, and and press Enter.
ok, I just finnished the sfc /scannow and it found corrupt files that were successfully repaired. it also made a CBS.log file too. I will try the event viewer next.
Im looking at the event viewer and I dont see Application and system, I do see Appications and service logs on the left hand side.
I restarted my computer and just let it sit with the task manager open and com surrogate is still opening and closing.
under summary of administrative events I see 3 errors. this is on event viewer local tab.
in the applications and service logs there are no errors.
