Now you use the ImgBurn program that I linked earlier and burn the .iso to DVD.

Yeah I burned the .iso lucid puppy file to the DVD. Then I placed the dvd back in the disc drive and have those options from before

You need to power off your system and then boot from the DVD. Make sure that the CD/DVD drive is #1 in the BIOS boot order and that the Puppy DVD is in the DVD reader before you start the system again.

There may be a little message on the screen that says: ' Press any Key". Press the space bar.

When you power-on, the next splash screen should tell you which button to tap to get into the 'Boot order" (or something like that). It is often F12 or ESC,

Once you are in the boot order screen, you navigate with the up/down keys. When the CD/DVD player is highlighted, hit Enter.

Well, now you have to go by the tutorial. I don't have Puppy (I use other Linux distros). So I really can't say more than what's in the tutorial.

Suggest you put a blank DVD into the reader and run it. It should show up on the Puppy desktop. Then you have to find your C partition - it may be sda1 and copy/paste your files to the DVD.
