SONY VAIO VPCEB4C5E (Bult In Microphone Is Not Working)

    Hey , Please help me
I have cleaned the cool and fun, two days ago, there was no thermal pasta and a lot of dust was left behind it. I cleaned it all. after i finish cleaning, i packed the laptop with the first position and start windows., everything is working fine, it is not overheating anymore. But how can i fix that bult in mic?
Do you think it is left unplugged , while i was cleaning the fan? where is built in mic located, i even don't know this.

please take a look at picture, i took when my laptop was unscrewed.

If the mic was working before and it stopped working when you did the rebuild, it could be a cable left out. Alsoo it might even be a driver that it need's for it. Have you checked Device manager?

To be honest i wouldn't say there is a cable, in my opinion it would be built into the board. But from that picture I cannot see anything it would be at the front i would say you woukd see the the little hole for the mic on the case? But did you check your driver's?

If you open device manager and post a screen shot?

    There you go mate,
it was working before, i open LAPTOP for prevent overheating and clean the fan. In addition, as you can see i need to apply thermal pasta in it, as it has none left. please take a look at screenshot, i'm afraid, Mic cable is unplugged inside the laptop, but as i remember, i did not touch anything rather than, fan.

Well you could check to see if the cable is unplugged (if there is one) but on the case you should see where the mic is placed on the motherboard and see. But it could of got damaged when opening the case of it. You never know and you might not of noticed.
