    I cant delete Windows.old files


    Guys, I overwrote my windows on an old version when I had a problems with boot, and now I cant delete Windows.old files. I have my administrator user all permissions, made myself an owner of the folder and all its files, still could not - "You need a permission from your ystem administrator". Now I activated the built-in administrator, and guess what?? "You need a permission from administrators" !!!!
    Please help, what can I do? I dont want to format disk and re-write the OS again, but 12Gb of wasted place still means much to me.

    RC on Windows Explorer and choose to Run as an Admin Then you should be able to RC on the file and take ownership and then delete

    You might see if one of the options in the tutorial below may be able to help you delete the Windows.old folder.
