[SOLVED] Win 7 Questions
Okay so before i installed Winodws 7 RC i had Windows XP and Windows Vista duel booting. But i had no boot manager, i had to push f8 during the first boot up screen to pick which hard drive to boot from, first being vista, second being xp.
I installd 7 onto the Vista partition. But when i go to boot my pc still thinks its going into vista and it gets some error saying theres no windows files etc. So when i boot from the second hard drive it goes into Windows 7 Easily. BUT there is no boot manager letting me go into XP. I cannot acces XP AT ALL. All the files are still there though, and under 7 my main harddrive is D. So im guessing XP is still there its just not booting up from it.
Could someone tell me if this is true? Can i keep using win7 rc untill June 2010? If not i need to know how to boot from xp aswell.IMPORTANT: The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you'll need to rebuild your test machine using a valid version of Windows before the software expires. You'll need to rebuild your test PC to replace the OS and reinstall all your programs and data. (To learn more, see Frequently asked questions.)
Note: im not the best at computers lol.
