Do you have it activated with a key?

Mine is thru TechNet and also shows the July 1 date (or is that January 7th since MS is a US company and that's how the date is written in the States?). Irregardless, based on the rumors of end of year release date, I'm sure we'll see an RC candidate long before whatever the expiration date.

You're right. It would be January 7th by what's it's showing. Mine doesn't even have a date at all, before or after activation.

Well, I hadn't noticed this before, but apparently the beta version of Windows 7 will "stop working" on August 1st, 2009..

So like, will it just freeze up and stop working or something? How will they make it stop working?

Is there a way I can bypass or remove this limitation? Will setting my computer date back work?

If not, is there a way to go back from Windows 7 to Vista?

Because I upgraded my main computer to Windows 7 since I used it and enjoyed it extremely, and never knew about this.. Any advice? Before it's too late.
One of the folly's I'm afraid of using 7 as the sole system on your PC, you can't beat dual boot you always have a fallback system.

You are looking at the date US style, the rest of the world see it the other way round, so for you it would 7.1.09

That's weird that you don't have a date, I have one on mine and it's fully activated.

"No date for me, fully activated. Mine never runs out"

    How did you manage that?
