    Random freezes

I've recently build my first pc and I'm Currently have a problem every now and then.
The Screens will completely freeze i will get no noise coming through my headset.

I've looked through my events and at the time when it last froze I have these event:
08:10:15 - The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the
system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
08:10:22 - The previous system shutdown at 08:08:43 on ‎24/‎03/‎2013 was unexpected.
08:10:22 - Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0

After the Screen freezes I've waited a couple of minutes before and nothing happens so I press the restart button on my Tower.

Can anyone suggest anything that may resolve this issue?

Thank you for taking the time to read my issue and hope that someone can help

In your post you state, "The Screens will completely freeze...", in the second sentence. Further on you state, "After the Screen freezes...". Since that's a conflict, I just want to establish whether or not you have a dual monitor setup; please clarify.

Yes, I have a dual monitor.
I followed step one on the link that UserNameIssues posted and it seems to have stop so im guessing it must be a program that would start up.

This may have nothing to do with your preent problem but i see you are running AVG. I would strongly recommend that you un-install this A/V and install MS Security Essentials from here:

You may or may not have a problem with the video card. Are you using the latest video driver? Also, have you checked "Device Manager" for any identified problems? If there is a probem with anything in the list it will be marked by a "triangle with an exclamation". If something is amiss in "Device Manager", see the following site for a list of codes and their meaning.

Not sure if this will help but here is the XML for the audit dropped transport event.
