Windows 7: How do I know if my computer turned itself on or if a person did?

Here's what you should do. Go to Control Panel>User Accounts. Then set a password for your account.

Then go to Control Panel>Power Options>Change Plan Settings>Change Advanced Power Settings
Expand the top two options, and then set Require a password on wakeup to yes.
