    Cursor Glitch

I constantly get a cursor glitch that makes me have to restart my computer because it makes it difficult to control the cursor.

when i hover over a text field, the mouse goes completely invisible and i lose track of it. When im in an application, even the application mouse is messed up and makes it difficult to click accurately because the point of the mouse is actually in a different position than where it is shown. when i hover over something, the cursor image will snap diagonally, which can also throw me off

It should also be noted that when the glitch starts, the mouse is a weird vertical line like this

    ˆ
    ˆ
    ˆ
    ˆ
    ˆ

and THEN switches to the mouse in the pictures

anyone know a solution to this problem?

P.S. on my second monitor, the mouse is normal, however it goes back to glitched when i go to my main monitor

Begs the question monster how long have you had the mouse and what sort and brand of mouse are you using?? A lot these days have so much of their own software it could be down to that interfering with the system.

Have you got another mouse you can try to see if this does this with that?

Yea stupid me sorry. I've used this mouse for about 2 years now. I have a Logitech g9x and i am using the "logitech gaming software" with it.

Unfortunately I dont have another mouse that I could use. Maybe I'll try to plug in a different mouse next time the glitch happens, also I dont know anything that triggers this so it might be a while before I know if anything you guys tell me will actually fix it.

I was hoping that someone has had the same issue as this and can tell me how they solved the issue

Look it wasn't stupid at all we all do these things and I'm no different - you get a problem and start to look for the worse case scenario it's called being human:)

Think of it like getting in a car turning the key and it won't turn - obviously the wrong key LOL!!

Think simple first is the best way then eliminate as you work up the problem "food chain"
