Mouse Cursor Turns into Repeating Pattern Occassionally.

I don't mean the cursor has a trail behind it due to a visual effect. I mean, sometimes the cursor will be replaced with a repeating pattern of the cursor, it will look like a line. It will only be like that in specific windows and then it will go away. It's still functional, just odd.

Does this happen randomly or is only restricted to when using a specific software?

Randomly, I've seen it happen on Firefox and Windows Explorer. Mainly because I use those the most I imagine.
