the task image is corrupt or has been tampered with
A clean installation referred to today in another thread was done by a computer repairer. As this was very recent I would not expect such warnings on viewing the task scheduler ( and they were numerous).
I was not looking to seal with any particular task, just nosing! So is the scheduler essential, and, if yes, what is the safe and sure way to mend it? I have tried sfc /scannow, as mentioned elsewhere, but don't know what next to do.
Ideas?
