    Folder keeps recreating itself

I have two My Documents folders: one with all my files and the other empty. So I delete it but the next time I check in Windows Explorer there it is again, recreated and empty. Any suggestions to make this stop happening? Thanks in advance.

Hello Tony, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It sound like the other "My Documents" not being recreated may not be correct, and is why the "My Documents" folder is being recreated. If you right click on the folder, check to see if it has a "Locations" tab. If not, then it's not correct, and you need to keep the one that does have this tab and delete the one without the tab.

If that does not help, then you could use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default "My Documents" folder.

    Hope this helps, :)

Hello Shawn. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Indeed, the folder where I had all my stuff did not have a "location" tab while the one being recreated does. So, I moved all my stuff to the one with the tab and so far everything seems to be working fine although I did have to modify a couple of "paths" in a couple of programs. Once again, thank you very much.
