Windows 7 Ultimate x64 won't load past CLASSPNP.sys.
I recently installed windows XP mode onto my computer, and after shutting it down and having the updates for that install I booted directly into an Ubuntu live disc, and restored the main Windows MBR.
When I had done that, and rebooted, windows won't load past the CLASSPNP.sys file, and I don't know how to fix it.
It's an Asus notebook - no CD drive, and there isn't a windows recovery environment, as Asus are idiots and decided to replace it with their own version that reinstalls the entire windows OS without any way of getting your data back (IDIOTS!).
So, how can I fix this annoying error and boot into windows? I have an Ubuntu disc on a pen drive that I'm currently using to post this, but like I said I don't have a windows recovery environment.
