Try this, hold the CTRL key down and pull the mouse wheel toward you. this will reduce the size of the desktop icons. (Have the desktop active.)
Right click an empty spot and click Refresh and see if that helps.
What size monitor do you have?

It may not have worked nilank if he has too many icons. He may have a monitor with a 4:3 resolution instead of a wide screen 16:9 .

Exactly, because I mainly edit digital images that have a 4:3 aspect ratio.

    Pin to Taskbar

Once you have Windows Explorer open, you can pin it to the Taskbar for easy access (it's strange that there isn't one there already).

    • Right click on the Windows Explorer bar/button on the Taskbar
    • Choose "Pin this program to taskbar"
    • A little version of the Windows Explorer icon should appear on your Taskbar

Click on the picture for the animation.

Actually he said he has enough "free space" on his desktop for more icons, so I thought... Seems like he got this solved.

Dick, you are kindly requested to post the solution so that it could help other members out there.
